Elephant in Amboseli

1. Amboseli

This is a beautiful national park that is located in Kenya, East Africa in a county called Kajiado. Most of the inhabitants of Amboseli are the Maasai. However, more and more people from around the country Kenya have settled around Amboseli because of its growth by tourism. There are many things that drive tourists all the way to Amboseli; birds, the big five wild animals, and even the massive swampy vegetation!

2. Lake Nakuru

This is a beautiful lake that is also located in Kenya Africa within Rift Valley. It is surrounded by the Lake Nakuru National Park and is famous for the flamingo bird. This makes a visit to Lake Nakuru more eventful. A view of the beautiful lake coupled with magnificent pink flamingoes in the distance would be magical! Sadly, since 2013 when the water levels in lake Nakuru started to rise, the flamingoes migrated to lake Bogoria, which is another exciting lake in Kenya. Within Lake Nakuru National Park, large mammals, warthogs, and even baboons can be found.

3. Tsavo East National Park.

This one is my personal favorite. Tsavo East National Park is the oldest National Park in Kenya. It is located in the arid and semi-arid area next to the Kenya coastline. Tsavo has two parks, Tsaove East and Tsavo West which are separated by the Nairobi Mombasa highway. Planning for a safari to Tsavo is fun. You could plan for a safari from Nairobi or one from Mombasa. Tsavo is a great destination for families, couples, and even solo travelers looking forward to experiencing a wildlife safari.

Before planning to travel to Kenya, here are some things to note;

✘ Each traveler must be in possession of a valid signed passport that will remain valid for at least six months beyond the completion of his or her trip. Travelers should check for VISA requirements pertaining to their citizenship, as entry requirements can vary.

✘ It is imperative that every traveler arrives on tour with the proper documentation. It is the traveler’s responsibility to attain all the documents that are necessary for admittance to the countries visited on his/her itinerary.
